The main secret of immunity is that it is not a single organ, but a whole system. And not even a system of organs. Immunity is much more complicated than, for example, the cardiovascular system. It works even at the cell level.</p>
<p>And there are no <a  href="https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/how-to-boost-your-immune-system" rel="external nofollow">studies</a> that would at least somehow prove that this or that pill, this or that herb, this or that habit will surely strengthen your immunity.</p>
<p>And yet, over the years of research, scientists have accumulated a lot of data that says: yes, a healthy lifestyle helps the immune system to resist disease. But what exactly do they mean by a healthy lifestyle? Only eight boring rules.</p>
<h3><strong>1. Do not smoke</strong></h3>
<p>A real focus of inflammation is created in the smoker&#8217;s mouth, which distracts the immune system. It is easier for <a  href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25172546" rel="external nofollow">smokers</a> to get diseases, even serious ones like tuberculosis.</p>

<p>Diversify your diet with vegetable soups or lean meats. They have a minimal number of calories, but many useful nutrients are saturated.<br />
Try to take a short walk after each meal.</p>
<p>Make sure that legumes (peas, lentils, beans) are present in your diet as they improve the digestive processes and saturate the body quickly.</p>
<p>Wear tight fitting clothing, it will remind you that it is time to stop.</p>
