Let me start by saying this: I’ve tried all diets. Low carb, no carb, raw vegan, clean eating, counting macros, skipping breakfast, eating every three hours, detox smoothies… you name it. And after years of experimenting, reading too much, listening to podcasts, and getting overwhelmed by wellness trends, here’s what I’ve learned: your body isn’t a math problem to solve. It’s a relationship to build.

Diets Are Tools, Not Identities

One of the biggest traps I fell into was treating a diet like a lifestyle label. Like I had to be a keto person. Or a plant-based person. The second I slipped up, it felt like failure. But the truth is, no single diet fits every phase of your life, every goal, every season.

What worked when I was 25 and working out five days a week doesn’t work now when I’m juggling a full-time job, two kids, and barely enough sleep. And that’s okay. Food should serve your life, not the other way around.

Nutrients Matter More Than Numbers

When I stopped obsessing over calories and started asking, “Does this meal actually nourish me?” everything shifted. I started focusing more on:

Protein (helps with energy, muscle recovery, feeling full)

Healthy fats (keeps hormones balanced, helps my brain not feel foggy)

Fiber (keeps digestion moving, balances blood sugar)

Colorful plants (because real food should look like it came from the ground, not a box)

Eating with nutrients in mind made me feel better. Not instantly. But gradually. My skin improved. My focus got sharper. I wasn’t crashing at 3 p.m. every day. It wasn’t magic. It was just consistency.

You Still Have to Like Your Food

Let’s be real. If a diet makes you dread every meal, it’s not sustainable. I used to think “healthy” had to be boring: steamed broccoli and grilled chicken on repeat. Now I know better.

I roast vegetables in olive oil and garlic. Make wraps with avocado and crunchy cabbage. I keep dark chocolate in the freezer and don’t feel guilty about eating it. Food is joy. You can eat well and still enjoy the experience.

Tips I Wish Someone Told Me Sooner

Don’t overhaul everything at once. Add before you subtract. More veggies, more water, more sleep.

Meal prep doesn’t have to mean containers. Just make more dinner and eat the leftovers.

Hydration changes your energy more than coffee ever could.

Pay attention to how food makes you feel, not just how it makes you look.

Final Thought

You don’t need a perfect plan. You need a rhythm that supports your real life. Food should give you energy, clarity, and a sense of connection to your body. If a way of eating helps you do that, it’s probably the right one for you—for now. And when your life changes, it’s okay for your diet to change too.

Be kind to your body. Feed it like someone you love. The rest has a way of falling into place.

I’ve read enough about nutrition, I know what’s healthy, and I definitely didn’t need to pay someone to tell me what to eat. Right?

The First Few Weeks: Feeling Like a Nutrition Guru

At first, I was killing it. Prepping meals, cutting carbs, drinking so much water I felt like a human fish—I was convinced I had cracked the code. The scale moved, my energy was through the roof, and I even skipped dessert at a family dinner (which, if you know me, never happens).

Then, things started getting… weird.

The First Signs Something Was Off

A month in, I wasn’t just eating healthy—I was obsessed with food. Every meal was a math equation. I couldn’t just enjoy a dinner out without mentally tallying every calorie. And the energy boost? Yeah, that crashed hard. I was exhausted, irritable, and honestly, miserable to be around.

But I pushed through. Because obviously, this was just part of the “adjustment phase.” My body was adapting, right?

The Wake-Up Call (AKA My Hair Started Falling Out)

One morning, I brushed my hair and nearly had a heart attack. Clumps. Actual clumps of hair. That’s when I knew—I had messed up bad. I spiraled down a Google rabbit hole, and let’s just say, none of the results were comforting. Was I malnourished? Losing too much weight too fast? Completely ruining my metabolism?

I finally caved and booked an appointment with a dietitian, fully expecting a quick “eat more spinach” solution.

The Reality Check I Needed

Spoiler: I was way off.

The dietitian barely skimmed my food journal before shaking her head. I wasn’t eating enough, plain and simple. Cutting carbs? Too aggressively. Barely any healthy fats? Bad move. Micronutrients? Completely ignored. My body wasn’t “adjusting”—it was going into full-blown panic mode. No wonder I felt like garbage.

She broke it down for me: dieting isn’t about slashing calories and punishing yourself. It’s about fueling your body. If I had just talked to a professional from the start, I could’ve avoided months of exhaustion, anxiety, and unnecessary hair loss.

What I Wish I Knew Before

Google is great for a lot of things. Building a diet plan? Not one of them. There’s a reason dietitians exist. They don’t just tell you what to eat; they help you create something sustainable. Something that actually works for your body.

Now? I eat carbs (shock: they didn’t ruin my progress). Don’t freak out over social meals. I feel strong instead of drained. And the best part? I don’t spend every waking moment thinking about food.

So, if you’re thinking about going on a diet alone, don’t be like me. Talk to someone who knows what they’re doing. Your body (and your sanity) will thank you.

In today’s world, where information about diets is just a click away, it’s tempting to jump into the latest trend or follow advice from social media influencers. However, not all diets are created equal, and what works for one person may not work for another. This is where the expertise of a dietitian becomes invaluable. Consulting with a dietitian before starting a diet can make the difference between success and frustration, ensuring that your dietary changes are safe, effective, and tailored to your unique needs.

Personalized Nutrition Plans

One of the primary reasons to work with a dietitian is the personalized approach they provide. Dietitians are trained to understand that each person’s body is different. Factors like age, gender, activity level, medical history, and even genetic predispositions play a significant role in how your body responds to different foods. A diet that is ideal for one person could be ineffective or even harmful to another.

For instance, someone with a history of heart disease may require a diet that is low in saturated fats, while someone with diabetes needs to manage their carbohydrate intake carefully. A dietitian can craft a plan that not only helps you reach your goals but also supports your overall health. This personalized approach is far more effective than generic diet plans, which often fail to address individual needs and can lead to disappointment or health issues.

Safe and Sustainable Weight Loss

Another key benefit of consulting with a dietitian is the focus on safe and sustainable weight loss. Many fad diets promise rapid results but are often extreme and difficult to maintain over the long term. These diets can lead to nutritional deficiencies, muscle loss, and even metabolic damage. A dietitian, on the other hand, will guide you toward a balanced approach that emphasizes gradual, sustainable weight loss. This not only helps you achieve your goals but also ensures that you maintain them over time.

Dietitians are also skilled in helping you develop healthy eating habits that last. They teach you how to make better food choices, manage portion sizes, and understand hunger cues. This knowledge empowers you to make healthier decisions even after you’ve reached your target weight, reducing the likelihood of regaining the weight you’ve lost. The goal is to help you create a lifestyle change, not just a temporary fix.

Managing Health Conditions Through Diet

For those with existing health conditions, working with a dietitian is especially crucial. Conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and digestive disorders require specific dietary management. A dietitian can help you navigate these complexities by creating a diet that supports your health while still allowing you to enjoy your meals.

For example, if you have high blood pressure, a dietitian might recommend the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet, which emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins while limiting salt and saturated fats. They can also help you understand how to read food labels, plan meals, and make adjustments based on how your body responds. This targeted approach can significantly improve your health outcomes and enhance your quality of life.

Avoiding Nutritional Deficiencies

One of the risks of starting a diet without professional guidance is the potential for nutritional deficiencies. Restrictive diets, especially those that eliminate entire food groups, can lead to a lack of essential vitamins and minerals. For example, a diet that cuts out all carbohydrates might lead to insufficient intake of fiber, B vitamins, and other important nutrients found in whole grains and fruits.

They can suggest healthy alternatives and supplements if necessary to fill any nutritional gaps. This approach helps you avoid the negative side effects of dieting, such as fatigue, weakened immunity, or hair loss, which can occur when your body isn’t receiving adequate nutrition.

Building a Healthy Relationship with Food

Finally, working with a dietitian can help you build a healthier relationship with food. A dietitian can help you break free from the cycle of restrictive eating and overeating by promoting mindful eating practices.

Mindful eating encourages you to pay attention to your body’s hunger and fullness signals, eat slowly, and enjoy your food without distraction. This approach fosters a positive relationship with food, where eating is seen as a nourishing, enjoyable experience rather than a source of stress. Over time, this mindset can lead to healthier habits, improved mental well-being, and a more balanced approach to eating.

Conclusion: The Value of Professional Guidance

Starting a diet is a significant decision that can have lasting impacts on your health. While it’s tempting to go it alone, the guidance of a dietitian is invaluable in ensuring that your efforts are safe, effective, and tailored to your unique needs. A dietitian provides personalized nutrition plans, promotes safe and sustainable weight loss, helps manage health conditions, prevents nutritional deficiencies, and supports a healthy relationship with food. By consulting with a dietitian, you’re investing in your long-term health and well-being, setting yourself up for success in achieving your goals and maintaining them for life.

During sleep time, our body rests and regenerates after daily fatigue. Therefore, when we do not sleep well, we suffer so much that we cannot even imagine.

Although we are increasingly aware of the importance of taking care of ourselves, the competition in society and the demands of our work force us to ignore certain aspects, such as good sleep hygiene.

We do this so often that many people simply associate insomnia with staying up all night. However, it is much more than that.

Essentially, insomnia covers all the phenomena that constantly prevent you from resting during the night. So when this happens, you don’t rest as well as you should.

Although the effects of this condition vary widely, recent studies have shown that insomnia increases the risk of stroke and heart attack.

How insomnia increases the risk of stroke and heart attack?

This problem does not occur in patients who wake up before their alarm goes off.

Rather, it affects those who take a long time to fall asleep or those whose sleep is interrupted. As a result, the body suffers from a lack of sleep, which can turn into a problem.

On the other hand, it is clear that lack of sleep affects metabolism.
As a result, this changes blood pressure, as well as inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines. All of them are involved in cerebral or coronary infarction.

However, it affects everyone differently.

This is due to hormonal changes and stress responses. Therefore, we recommend that everyone (especially women) pay attention to the quality of sleep.

Tips for good sleep

1. Physical activity

Exercise not only trains but also produces substances in the brain that prevent insomnia, in particular serotonin.

In addition, they reduce the level of cortisol – the stress hormone. Therefore, after training, you will notice that you are in a more positive mood and feel more relaxed.

What’s more, exercise boosts self-esteem as it helps us overcome mental and physical limitations and improve our figure.

2. Don’t go to sleep without being tired

Sometimes we make the mistake of going to bed when we think it’s time to do so. However, this can be a problem if you have insomnia.

Forced sleep causes the opposite effect: it occurs stress.

Do you ever feel like you can never fall asleep on those days when you have to wake up earlier than usual? In general, we go to bed earlier than we should, and then the obsession with sleep leads to the opposite effect.

3. Create a schedule to avoid the risk of stroke and heart attack

In addition, it is important to have some order in your life. The brain loves order. Once you establish a schedule, it will work smoothly.

Once you develop a schedule, you will be surprised when you are very active at 9 am and suddenly start yawning as early as 10 pm.

The development of certain disorders can be prevented by the regular consumption of certain foods.

Even depression can be overcome naturally and safely, namely by adding to your diet healthy foods with incredible properties.

How to overcome depression naturally?

Depression is a very complex internal disorder. This disease is quite difficult to treat with natural methods because depression negatively affects the nervous system and leads to disorders of many other internal organs.

People who suffer from depression experience incredible despair and have a rather pessimistic outlook on life. This incredibly complicates the treatment process, because the negative attitude of a person to the intervention in his life and acute disbelief in the possibilities of modern medicine does not allow him to effectively and quickly get rid of depression.

The main symptoms of this mental disorder are a constant feeling of sadness and despair, apathy, and low self-esteem.

However, you should not panic and give up early, because it is still possible to cure depression. To do this, add to your diet nutrient-rich foods, that improve the nervous system.

Believe me, with regular use of these foods you can quickly improve your well-being and emotional state.

1. Cocoa

Since ancient times, cocoa use in many cultures as a useful natural remedy.

In addition, due to the high content of phenylethylamine and tryptophan, cocoa is deservedly considered an incredibly effective remedy for depression. These compounds improve mood and stimulate the production of serotonin – a neurotransmitter that is responsible for the feeling of happiness.

Do not confuse cocoa and chocolate. Chocolate contains a large amount of sugar and harmful fats, and the percentage of natural cocoa in chocolate delicacies is quite low.

2. Citruses

All citrus fruits have powerful antidepressant properties.

The essential oils of lemon, grapefruit, orange, and mandarin create a feeling of comfort and happiness, so we feel sublime when applying these useful citruses to the skin.

Oranges are one of the most effective means to increase optimism and cheerfulness.

However, doctors recommend eating oranges in the morning, as they can cause sleep disorders and insomnia if you eat them for dinner.

3. Green leafy vegetables

These vegetables are characterized by a high content of magnesium – an essential mineral that has a positive effect on the nervous system and prevents the development of mental disorders such as excessive nervousness and depression.

To get the most out of green leafy vegetables, it is better to eat them fresh. You can add them to salads or prepare natural juices or green smoothies based on them.

4. Avocado

This healthy fruit contains a huge amount of nutrients. Due to this, with regular consumption of avocado, you can get rid not only of depression and bad mood but also other internal disorders.

Although avocados are high in fat, this fruit contains a large amount of essential fiber and protein, so you should not give up avocados for fear of gaining weight.

5. Walnuts

When it comes to healthy foods for bad moods and depression, it is worth mentioning walnuts. They contain a large number of vitamins and minerals (including magnesium) and essential fatty acids. Due to this, walnuts are deservedly considered an effective natural method of combating depression.

Just one handful of walnuts a day – and you can not only regulate the nervous system but also strengthen the heart and other organs of the cardiovascular system.

6. Flax seeds

You can use flax in the form of seeds or in the form of linseed oil. This product is incredibly useful and nutritious because it contains a large amount of essential omega-3 fatty acids. It is these fats that are necessary to maintain emotional stability and improve general well-being.

When buying linseed oil, be sure to choose cold-pressed oil, because it retains the most useful properties of flax.

7. Eggs

Eggs are high in vitamin B12. Remember that low levels of B vitamins, especially B12, often lead to depression and depression.

Did you know those common problems such as headaches or lack of concentration can be related to excess toxins? Your body may not be removing toxins and signaling that it needs to be cleansed.

Among the main signs that your toxin excretion system is not working properly are the following:

1. Constant fatigue

No matter how many hours a day you sleep, you are always sleepy, or you just lack energy.

When your body is running at full speed to eliminate toxins, it is normal to feel tired.

If you drink coffee or eat chocolate to get rid of this problem, you only make the situation worse. Also, keep in mind that chronic fatigue can be the result of a hormonal imbalance that damages your immune system.

2. Сonstipation

When the stomach and intestines are not working, your body cannot excrete toxins through feces.

Chronic constipation is a sign of toxin imbalance. Even if you increase your fiber intake or change your diet and don’t notice any difference, it may be because you need to clean the intestinal tract.

Remember that the digestive system accumulates waste, but not all of which is excreted. Try eating more raw fruits and vegetables to help digestion.

3. Headache

Headache is a sign that your body is not eliminating toxins.

The causes of migraines are varied. However, pay attention if they occur several times a week.

If you can’t determine why you have a headache (ie, you haven’t had a busy day, haven’t been in the sun, haven’t had insomnia, etc.), then detoxification should be considered.

Keep in mind that the headache may increase during this process (this is known as a “healing crisis”).

4. Weight gain

If despite exercise and diet, you do not notice weight changes (or gain weight), it may be due to a hormonal problem.

How does this relate to toxins? Hormone work can also be unbalanced through the food we eat or the habits we maintain.

5. Problems with concentration

Do you find it harder to focus on things? Do you throw things halfway because your head is “in the clouds”? Do you find it difficult to make clear decisions?

“Mental fog” is the inability to concentrate, which occurs very commonly when the body has accumulated too many toxins.

You should not drink coffee or alcohol to hide the problem. On the contrary, you need to remove waste with proper nutrition.

6. Depression

Now you are happy, but suddenly you feel the unhappiest person on the planet.

Your mood changes several times a day, and you blame external factors, such as traffic jams, work, money problems, or household chores.

However, depression and suffering can also be caused by an unhealthy diet and the accumulation of toxins (which are not eliminated properly).

Start eating right and gradually you will see results.

7. Insomnia

If you have nightmares, wake up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep, or have difficulty sleeping, the cause may be an excess of toxins.

This is because toxins interrupt the hormone melatonin, which is responsible for relaxation.

Sometimes, we may think that the solution is to take sleeping pills or relaxants. However, they also have the opposite effect.

Increasingly higher doses are needed to fall asleep, and we add more toxins to the body.

8. Muscle pain

You can attribute this to a bad night’s sleep, a new pillow, or exercise, but if none of them cause pain… What is the reason? In toxins.

When there are many toxins in the body, they cause inflammation and hence pain and movement problems.

9. Acne

The skin is a mirror of health. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to this. When our body wants to eliminate toxins, it can do so in different ways.

One of them is through the skin. As a result, acne occurs in certain areas, such as the face, body, or back.

Also, our skin looks unhealthy due to enlarged pores and dark spots.

To avoid this, you should not only detoxify and exfoliate your skin but also pay attention to what you eat and what may be causing this problem.

Back pain is a common health issue that can have no definite cause, or it may be a symptom of a more severe condition. For women, back pain is more likely to become chronic than it is for men, especially when they have reached menopause. Several conditions are more common in women that cause back pain, as well as some that are exclusive to women. In this article, we’ll go over five conditions that can cause women to feel back pain, as well as what you can do about them.

Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction

The Sacroiliac (SI) joint is the joint that connects the bottom of the spine to the top of the pelvis. Lower back pain may be a sign of dysfunction in the SI joint, also known as sacroiliitis. Common symptoms are lower back pain, aches with flares of sharp pain over the buttocks, and shooting pain traveling down the thigh but not past the knee.

SI joint dysfunction can happen to both men and women, but it is more common in women due to structural differences in the skeletal system. Women typically have a smaller surface area of the joint, which leads to more pressure on it. They also have a wider, flatter, and more tilted SI joint than men, which makes it easier for the joint to slip slightly out of alignment.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is one condition that exclusively affects women. It is a gynecological condition that causes uterine tissues to grow outside of the uterus. It’s commonly treated with hormonal birth control like the pill, and the most common symptom is extremely severe menstrual pain, including lower back pain that worsens during menstruation.

Piriformis Syndrome

The piriformis muscle is located in the buttocks and spasms in it cause a condition called piriformis syndrome. Common symptoms of piriformis syndrome are chronic hip and buttock pain that flares during hip movement, radiating pain from the back of the leg, and pain when sitting for long periods. Many patients have also reported worse pain in the mornings when getting out of bed. It is most often treated with physical therapy. Women are more likely than men to have piriformis syndrome due to hormone and pelvic changes triggered by pregnancy.

Degenerative Spondylolisthesis

Low estrogen can lead to faster degradation of ligaments which makes post-menopausal women at a higher risk for a condition called degenerative spondylolisthesis. When the ligaments that hold the spinal vertebrae in place degrade, it can cause the vertebrae to be unstable and slip over the ones below them. Lower back pain that radiates into the legs and pain while walking or doing other activities that compress the spine – the most commonly reported symptoms.

Spinal Osteoporosis Fractures

As you age, your bone density naturally decreases. In extreme cases, this can make the bones more fragile and easily fractured in a condition known as osteoporosis. To be officially diagnosed with osteoporosis, the rate of bone loss must be higher than the rate of bone formation. Women who have passed menopause are about four times as likely to have osteoporosis than men, possibly due to low estrogen levels.

In the spine, osteoporosis can cause compression fractures which may be a serious issue if left untreated by a medical professional. Common symptoms are acute back pain (usually in the mid to low back), as well as general bone pain.

Back pain affects many women for a variety of reasons. Left untreated, it can seriously reduce the quality of life, especially for senior citizens. If you or a loved one suffer from spinal pain in Tampa, FL, contact Genesis Medical Clinic for help. Pain can be a setback, but it doesn’t have to define your life.

Everyone knows that smoking is a dangerous addiction that can cause destructive changes in the human body. However, there are no less bad habits, the negative impact of which we often underestimate.

1. Abuse of sweet carbonated beverages

Carbonated sweet drinks are very harmful to the body because they contain large amounts of fructose corn syrup.

This component of carbonated beverages is the main culprit of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and other serious disorders.

Do carbonated drinks really cause such serious damage to health? Believe it or not, but drinking only one can of this drink a day, in one year you can weighting much as 7 pounds! In addition, even such a seemingly small dose of the drink increases the risk of developing diabetes by as much as 85%.

In fact, carbonated beverages are far more dangerous than smoking, as the industry that makes them promotes these beverages as a product for the whole family.

While smokers are usually adults, as cigarettes are not sold to minors, young children and adolescents are also addicted to carbonated drinks, as they can easily buy this drink without the permission and knowledge of their parents.

2. Insufficient or too much sleeping

When it comes to a sufficient amount of night rest for the human body, scientists agree that sleep should be 7-9 hours.

Studies conducted at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USA) have shown that less than 6 hours and more than 10 hours of sleep a day can lead to the development of the following serious diseases:

diseases of the cardiovascular system;

diabetes;

adiposity;

depression.

3. Sedentary lifestyle

If you are one of those people who, after eight hours in a sitting position in the office, come home and sit in front of the TV, it can be dangerous for your life!

According to a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, adults who spend more than 11 hours a day in a sitting position are 40% more likely to die 3 years earlier than those who sit no longer than 4 hours a day.

Prolonged stay in a sitting position increases the risk of developing the following diseases:

diabetes;

cancer;

disorders of the cardiovascular system.

Note that the risk of getting sick does not decrease even if you are active in sports, which is why we strongly recommend moving more and sitting less at the computer.

4. Crossing the legs in a sitting position

At first glance, this habit may seem completely innocent. But in fact, a regular crossing of the legs while sitting can lead to poor blood circulation and blood clots. As a result, the risk of developing the following diseases increases:

varicose veins;

high blood pressure;

thrombosis;

tension in the thighs;

posture problems.

5. Improper nutrition

A diet dominated by foods high in preservatives or fast food has no less detrimental effects on the human body than alcohol, tobacco, and drug addiction. This is evidenced by data from the Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition (GLOPAN).

Note that an unbalanced diet can lead to the following diseases:

type 2 diabetes;

coronary heart disease;

cancer;

hypertension;

anemia;

other serious disorders of the internal organs and systems.

What we are consuming affects the capability of our body to fight against, prevent, and recover from any infections. Although no food can stop or cure the coronavirus infection, healthy diets can bolster the immune system. Good nutrition helps you stay healthy and will also decrease the chances of developing other health issues such as heart diseases, obesity, diabetes, and some kinds of cancer.

1. Consume a range of food including vegetables and fruits: Each day consume a mix of whole grains such as maize and rice, fresh fruits, vegetables, wheat, legumes such as beans and lentils along with the non-veg items such as fish, meat, milk, and eggs. The whole grain food must include millet, wheat, oats, maize, and brown rice as much as possible. These foods are rich in fiber and allow you to feel full for a long period. As far as snacks are concerned, opt for fresh fruit, raw vegetables, and unsalted nuts.

2. Cut back the salt intake: Limit your salt intake to 5 gm every day. This is equivalent to a teaspoon. While preparing and cooking food make use of salt sparingly and decrease the salty sauce usage and also reduce the use of condiments such as stock of fish sauce, soy sauce, etc. to stay healthy. When you are using dried or canned food, select a range of vegetable variety, fruits, nuts without added salt and sugar. Get rid of the salt shaker from your dining table. You can experiment with fresh or dried spices and herbs for additional flavor. Check labels on the food items and select the products having lower sodium content.

3. Consume moderate fat and oil: To stay healthy you need to replace ghee, butter, and lard with healthy fats such as soy, corn oil, sunflower, or olive oil while cooking. Use white meat such as fish and poultry that are normally lower in fat than compared to the red meat. Get rid of the visible fat and reduce the consumption of processed meat. Choose low-fat and reduced-fat versions of dairy products and milk. Avoid all baked, fried, and processed food that contains artificially produced fats. Rather than frying, you can try boiling or steaming the food during your cooking.

4. Drink sufficient water: Staying hydrated is critical for your optimal health. When it is available and is safe for consumption the tap water is the cheapest and healthiest drink. Consuming water rather than sugar-sweetened beverages is a good way of limiting the intake of sugar and excessive calories.

5. Limit your sugar consumption: You can limit the intake of sugary and sweet drinks such as fruit juices, fizzy drinks, powder concentrates, sports and energy drinks, flavored water, ready to drink coffee and tea, and flavored milk. Opt for fresh fruit rather than cakes, cookies, and chocolate. If you need to choose other deserts, opt for lower sugar products and eat only in smaller portions. In the case of children, avoid sugary food. Avoid using sugar and salt in the food given to the children less than two years old.

6. Avoid the use of alcohol: Alcohol is never a part of any healthy diet. Consuming alcohol does not provide protection against coronavirus and it may turn out to be dangerous. Excess and frequent consumption raises the risks of injury and causes long-term damage such as liver damage, mental sickness, and heart diseases.

If you are looking to stay healthy during the coronavirus pandemic and are willing to switch to a healthy lifestyle you can also think about taking a massage sometimes. You may contact Maria’s Professional Massage for a session. Maria is an experienced therapist and can deliver a professional job especially in the Clearwater area.
